Operations Supervisor (OS) - Children's Center for Autism (CCA)
We are excited to announce an opening for an Operations Supervisor (OS) in the Texana Center Children’s Center for Autism (CCA). This key leadership role is integral to the success of our daily operations and collaborates closely with behavior technicians, parents, clinicians, and fellow Texana Center staff. The OS demonstrates strong operational oversight, adaptability, and the initiative to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Role Responsibilities
- The OS works 8-5 M-F and flexes schedule as needed. Duties may change as program needs change.
- The OS will be assigned specific primary geographical or program areas.
- Hire, lead, engage, and retain a team of 30–45 behavior technicians (BT), registered behavior technicians (RBT), and Assistant Team Supervisors (ATS), and Program Support Technicians (PST) delivering exceptional clinical care.
- Support teammates through evaluations, personal growth plans, and corrective actions. Lead employee advisory committee and team celebrations.
- The OS is responsible for day-to-day scheduling of behavior technicians (BT), registered behavior technicians (RBT), and Assistant Team Supervisors (ATS).
- The OS oversees and completes HR related tasks for BT/RBT/ATS that are not clinical in nature, including but not limited to entering performance appraisals, career ladder increases, monitoring and delivering attendance feedback, terminations, etc.
- The OS oversees timesheets for all BT/RBT/ATS, ensuring that timesheets are accurate and submitted on time.
- The OS ensures BT/RBT/ATS worker’s compensation paperwork is complete and appropriate parties are notified. Following any reports to worker’s compensation, the OS works with HR and the Clinical Manager and completes and follows up with bona fide job offers as needed.
- The OS hires PST staff and leads the hiring and onboarding process for BT/RBT/ATS positions in collaboration with clinical staff input.
- The OS ensures BT/RBT/ATS are qualified and maintain qualifications per the BACB and assures all BT/RBT/ATS complete the duties of their position.
- The OS is responsible for completing progressive disciplinary action (i.e., attendance, tardiness, annual training/PDUs, on task behavior, adherence to procedures).
- The OS is an active, positive, and productive participant in required meetings and actively problem solves issues as they arise.
- The OS communicates effectively with the Senior Manager, Manager, and other departments.
- The OS assists with the budget(s) for assigned department(s) and assures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- The OS will oversee or complete the following duties:
- Shopping and ordering for client, clinic, and staff needs
- Ordering and placement of janitorial and day-to-day supplies
- Primarily responsible for urgent and planned building or safety issues such as cleaning spills, providing team members with personal protective equipment or supplies, maintenance requests, annual inspections, maintenance, etc.
- The OS participates in program development and analyzes opportunities for program improvement.
- The OS ensures that work follows Texana Center procedures and relevant standards and is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.
- In collaboration with the senior manager and managers, the OS facilitates regular communication with all members of the clinic via email, in-person meetings/trainings, and other established means of clinic wide communication.
- In collaboration with the manager, the OS will implement clinic wide reinforcer systems and oversee delivery of rewards
- The OS oversees various other duties including administrative tasks, communicating with venders and contractors, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment (such as cameras and tablets), etc.
- The OS is the direct contact for the maintenance department and works closely with the clinical team and others to ensure a safe and professional looking work and therapy environment
- Travel within the catchment area is required.
- Duties may change as program needs change.
- The OS reports to the CCA Senior Manager.

- 90% -$21.64
- 95% -$22.84
- 100%-$24.04
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- Associates degree or at least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within Texana’s Children’s Center for Autism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as written communications skills, with the ability to deliver constructive performance feedback diplomatically and effectively.
- Travel between CCA locations is required
- A valid Texas Driver’s License is required
- Administrative support experience in any clinic, medical facility, or other healthcare related entity OR any experience working in any capacity for an ABA company
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet. Applicants must be able to create and modify documents and spreadsheets in Word and Excel
- Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to problem solve
- Ability to accept and implement corrective feedback
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- Experience in a business office coordinator, insurance coordinator, administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role in an ABA clinic

- Must be able to perform CPR
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15 pounds- 45 pounds), kneeling, pushing, stooping, climbing stairs, walking, standing, light carrying (15 pounds), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, running, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
