In this role, you'll coordinate training activities, support learning programs, manage training records, assist with workshop logistics, maintain learning content, and serve as a key resource for employees, managers, and training partners. If you're passionate about employee development and enjoy managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.Must-HavesBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in training coordination, learning and development, HR support, or employee developmentExperience coordinating training programs, workshops, meetings, and employee learning initiativesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities, calendars, schedules, and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesTraining Program CoordinationSupport the administration and coordination of organizational training programsAssist with district-wide training budget requests and compilation activitiesCoordinate employee job shadowing requests and related communicationsSupport new hire training assignments, reassignments, and onboarding communicationsAssist with New Manager Program logistics, recordkeeping, scheduling, and participant communicationsLearning Management System (LMS) AdministrationCreate and maintain training courses within UKG (based on security permissions)Assign training courses and monitor completion statusTrack attendance and maintain training recordsGenerate training and participation reportsWorkshop & Event SupportCoordinate training workshop logistics and participant communicationsPrepare and distribute training materials and pre-work assignmentsWelcome vendors and assist with training session introductionsCollect, review, and maintain training evaluations and feedback dataSchedule training sessions, meetings, and appointmentsTraining Operations & CommunicationsManage and respond to inquiries within the HR Training inboxMaintain training documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recordsSupport HR intranet content related to learning and development programsAssist with internal grant-related training correspondence and coordinationPrepare and distribute agendas and supporting materials for training-related meetingsAdministrative SupportPerform data entry and maintain accurate training records and reportsSupport learning and development initiatives through reporting and documentationAssist with invoicing and vendor coordination as neededWhat You Bring to the TableExperience supporting employee training, professional development, or learning programsStrong project coordination and administrative skillsAbility to communicate effectively with employees, managers, vendors, and stakeholdersExperience maintaining confidential information with professionalism and discretionStrong recordkeeping, reporting, and documentation abilitiesA customer-service mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approachNice to HaveExperience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably UKGExperience coordinating instructor-led and virtual training programsFamiliarity with adult learning principles and employee development programsExperience maintaining intranet content or training documentationExperience working in a public sector, utility, or unionized environmentOther RequirementsAbility to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMBackground check and drug screening requiredVirtual interview conducted via Microsoft Teams
