Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Hubbardston, MA. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing and reconciling financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves using accounting software to generate reports, support budgeting, and provide financial data needed for management decisions. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards, and support general office administrative functions as needed. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and handling daily transaction recording. Experience preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements. Proficiency with accounting software and related finance tools. Ability to accurately prepare and post journal entries and support core finance processes. Solid understanding of basic finance and accounting principles. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability in meeting deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site. Prior experience in a small business, industrial supply, or similar environment is a plus. Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
