Private Equity Associate/Senior Associate, Software
Alexander Chapman
A Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on software and technology investments is looking to add an Associate and Senior Associate to its investment team.
The team invests in founder-led and middle-market software businesses and is seeking candidates with strong analytical skills, transaction experience, and a genuine interest in technology investing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities across the software sector
- Build financial models and conduct valuation analysis
- Perform industry, market, and competitive research
- Support diligence processes and transaction execution
- Work closely with management teams and portfolio companies
- Assist with investment memos and internal presentations
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related investing roles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Prior software or technology transaction experience preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
- Focus: Software & Technology Investments
- Openings at both Associate and Senior Associate level
