Senior Associate, Transactional Tax (4+ years) NYC|DC|LA|San Fran|Silicon Valley|San Diego|Austin|Chicago Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring a senior transactional tax associate for a national team that sits in the middle of headline deals. This is a true platform move: deep bench, real volume, and tax lawyers who are brought in early, not at the cleanup stage. Role Summary You will run point on transactional tax across: Domestic and cross-border M&A Partnership tax planning Private equity fund formation work Capital markets and financing transactions This is a senior associate seat with real responsibility and direct deal exposure. Candidate profile Minimum 4 years of law firm experience focused on transactional tax Comfort advising deal teams and business principals, not just drafting memos after the fact Experience across M&A, partnership structures, and sponsor-side work is strongly preferred Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction Why this role Market position: A top-tier AmLaw platform with consistent national recognition across practice areas and lawyers. Deal flow: A tax group built to support high-volume, high-value transactions across major business centers. Bench strength: Large, globally integrated tax team, which matters when your deals do.
