Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification required
• Mathematics credits or related coursework strongly preferred
• Alternatively, Teacher of the Handicapped certification with credits in Math will be considered
• Prior experience teaching in special education settings is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for fostering both academic and personal growth among diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized math instruction to students with a range of learning needs
• Develop and implement engaging lessons based on IEP goals and curricular standards
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Support social-emotional development alongside academic achievement
