The responsibilities of the Cook include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities Review menus prior to food preparation. Inspect special diet trays to ensure the correct diet is served to residents. Ensure all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Assist in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time. Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus. Prepare and serve meals that are both palatable and visually appealing. Cook/prepare meals as necessary. Prepare food according to standardized recipes and special diet orders. Demonstrate knowledge of kosher dietary laws. Experience and Skills At least 1 year of experience as a lead cook in a fast‑paced restaurant. Excellent communication skills with a customer‑service‑oriented approach. Serve Safe certification preferred.
