Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Huntersville, North Carolina

Schedule & Hours:

• Contract position; specific shifts to be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, preferably within a resource team
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
• Active North Carolina licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with both invasive and non-invasive ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
• Capable of providing care in a variety of units, including NICU, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, ED, and General Medicine Floors
• Open to first-time travelers
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, with a focus on Neonate-Pediatric populations
• Support adult respiratory cases as assigned
• Collaborate closely with respiratory leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Document care and interventions accurately in EMR (EPIC)
• Utilize a range of department-specific equipment; details provided during the interview
• Adhere to high standards of safety and infection control
• Maintain professional standards, including wearing royal blue scrubs
