Ideal candidates will have a strong background in CVICU or Cardiac ICU settings and be adept at managing complex cardiac patients. Successful candidates must be able to integrate quickly with minimal training and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Assignment Details Start Date: Not Provided Facility Type: Acute Shift: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); includes weekends and holidays Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable) Floating: Required to float to ICU and other care levels Charting System: EPIC Local Candidate Policy: Local rate applies within 50 miles Division: Nursing Number of Beds: 20 private, monitored beds Patient Ratios: 1:3 to 1:4, depending on acuity Tech Support: PCTs with ratios of 1:12-1:15 Equipment: Phillips monitoring, ventilators, CPAP, BPAP, high flow Orientation: 3 days (1 unit-specific, 2 with preceptor) Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac stepdown unit Titrate and manage various cardiac drips and lines Interpret telemetry and monitoring strips Float to ICU as required and provide comprehensive care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Required: Active IL RN license or pending application BLS certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of CVICU or cardiac ICU experience Proficiency in telemetry and advanced cardiovascular interventions Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress environment Preferred: ACLS certification CCRN or PCCN certification Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 63982544.
