IQA Inspector Jr.

Location: St. Paul, MN | Onsite
Contract: Through December 31, 2026 (Subject to extension or conversion to perm)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay: Non-exempt; overtime over 40 hours paid at 1.5x

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IQA Inspector Jr. to support incoming quality inspection of components and sub-assemblies. This position is ideal for an entry-level quality professional with 0–2 years of inspection or manufacturing experience who understands technical drawings and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming commodities, components, and sub-assemblies for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform inspections on mechanical, chemical, printed-material, and potentially bio-hazardous components.
• Use Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other inspection equipment to verify part dimensions and specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) .
• Document inspection results accurately and identify nonconforming materials or components.
• Follow established safety, quality, and inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Proficiency in using measuring and inspecting devices (microscopes, calipers, gauges, etc.,)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work onsite in St. Paul, MN , from 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
