As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a dynamic technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and communicate unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced workplace.
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferred to be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
