New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit

Where You Will Work:

The Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit is a 29 - bed specialized unit for patients recovering from complex surgeries and life-threatening injuries. Its primary focus is acute/emergent general surgery, surgical oncology, postpartum hemorrhage, liver transplant, and designated ICU for the regions only Level 1 Trauma Center.

Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  
  



• 
  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  
  



• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  
  

What Youll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

Atrium Healths Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health in Charlotte NC, distinguished throughout the Southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the regions only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolinas 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
