Job Description Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri09:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, offices, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain appropriate records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
