Quick Facts Location: Coos Bay, OR | 1775 Thompson Road Start Date: 04/28/2026 Schedule: Clinic M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; shared call with weekend echo rotation Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology, Active OR license, Echo/Nuclear certification preferred Experience: 3+ years preferred, no recent grads Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: This appears to be an internal placeholder; actual compensation to be discussed during interview) Pay Package: Competitive salary to be discussed during interview Benefits include: Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Generous PTO CME allowance Licensure and professional fee reimbursement Sign-on bonus potential (discussed at interview) Relocation assistance Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit 24/7 dedicated team support Paid sick time per law What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services in a hospital and outpatient setting Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, ECGs, and cardiovascular imaging Manage patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate medications Perform procedures such as cardioversion and TEE Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, prevention, and treatment options Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record Engage in outreach services to nearby hospitals as needed What You Need Required: Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) Active Oregon medical license Nuclear and Echo certification preferred but not mandatory 3+ years of experience in cardiology BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (NRP highly preferred) Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach Preferred: Experience with stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and TEE Willingness to provide outreach services and work in a low-stress environment About the Assignment Join a dynamic team at a community-focused hospital serving a diverse patient population in Coos Bay, Oregon.
