Quick Facts:

• Location: Coos Bay, OR
• Start Date: Flexible; upon credentialing
• End Date/Duration: Permanent, full-time position
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• Hours/Week: 40 hours

• License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Experience: Experience preferred, strong nuclear and echo skills highly valued

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology services at a leading hospital in Coos Bay
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiography, nuclear imaging, stress testing, Holter monitors, and TEE procedures
• Manage evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiac diseases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Participate in outreach to nearby critical access hospitals as needed
• Maintain detailed patient records in electronic health records systems

What You Need:

Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Nuclear and Echo certifications preferred
• Oregon medical license or eligible
• Active medical malpractice coverage with a clean history
• Ability to obtain NPDB self-query report

Preferred:

• Experience interpreting echocardiograms and nuclear imaging
• Comfortable with outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Willingness to participate in outreach duties
