Position Summary

Lake Havasu City Municipal Court is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Court Records Clerk to perform clerical and administrative duties related to court records, case files, and court proceedings.

The Court Records Clerk maintains accurate and confidential court records, assists the public and court personnel, processes legal documents, and provides administrative support to ensure court operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Special Note:

Requires non-standard or rotating shift work and will not exceed 29 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills. They must be able to effectively multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and take direction well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy by carefully reviewing and verifying their work, identifying errors or discrepancies, and ensuring information is complete and accurate before submission.

Qualified candidates will be required to participate in online testing, which will consist of only Data Entry. Candidates will receive separate testing notification via email or text messaging and must complete testing as instructed; no extensions of deadline will be given.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• 1 year experience in administrative support and office operations to include record keeping or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Qualifications

• Judicial staff must meet and maintain annual required training of sixteen (16) credit hours through the Education Services Division of Arizona Judicial Branch.

• Valid Driver's License of the appropriate class.
