Parts Cleaner - 1st Shift


Location: Hardin Valley / West Knoxville, TN

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift - Flexible Schedule Options

Partners Personnel is hiring a dependable Parts Cleaner for a precision manufacturing facility in the Hardin Valley area. This is a hands-on position responsible for cleaning and handling manufactured parts while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

This opportunity offers 1st-shift scheduling flexibility , with the option to work either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week .

Responsibilities

• Clean manufactured parts according to established procedures and quality requirements
  
  
• Remove oils, residue, debris, and other materials from parts as required
  
  
• Handle finished and in-process components carefully to prevent damage
  
  
• Follow written work instructions and verbal directions from supervisors and team leads
  
  
• Inspect parts during the cleaning process and communicate any visible defects or concerns
  
  
• Move, organize, and stage parts and materials throughout the work area
  
  
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation
  
  
• Follow all established safety procedures
  
  
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments
  
  
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently in a production environment

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and handle up to 50 lbs. without accommodation

• Ability to stand, move, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  
  
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

• Strong verbal communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required
  
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
  
• Excellent attendance and dependability are required

• Reliable transportation to the Hardin Valley area is required

• Strong attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work safely and maintain an organized work area
  
  
• Manufacturing, production, parts cleaning, machine shop, or similar experience is a plus, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

Schedule Options


This is a 1st-shift position with flexibility to work either:

• 4 days per week × 10-hour shifts , or
  
  
• 5 days per week × 8-hour shifts

Candidates should be dependable and able to consistently work their agreed-upon schedule.
