Position: Dishwasher, full-time

Schedule: 1:00-9:30 p.m.

Pay: $16.25 - $18.02, depending on experience

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Summary:

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our team. This is a full-time position that includes nights, weekends and holidays. This position is responsible for a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general and deep cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Accept and receive orders under Chef supervision.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties, sanitizes and maintains all trash containers and carts.

Qualifications:

• Must be age 18 years or older.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent experience.
• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
