Location: This is a full-time, on-site position in Lower Manhattan, offering the benefit of working closely with an experienced legal team in a collaborative office environment. Note: Must have 3+ years of workers' compensation attorney experience and be admitted in New York. This is a workers' comp role and not a litigation-side personal injury position. Job Description Handle workers' compensation matters on behalf of injured workers from intake through resolution Manage files, deadlines, and case strategy across an active caseload Communicate with clients regarding benefits, treatment, status, and next stepsPrepare and review filings, applications, and other workers' compensation documents Appear for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings before the relevant board or tribunal Work with medical records, wage information, and supporting documentation to advance claims Negotiate settlements and help drive matters toward favorable outcomes Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently and effectively Qualifications 3+ years of workers' compensation attorney experience Admitted to practice in New York Strong familiarity with workers' compensation claims handling and appearances Ability to manage files independently and communicate effectively with clients Organized, responsive, and comfortable in a fast-paced plaintiff-side environment Spanish language skills are a plus Why You Will Love Working Here You’ll be joining a firm that combines purpose, advocacy, and teamwork in a real way.
