Business Process Engineer

DescriptionWho We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a process-minded problem solver to join our team as a process engineer, owning how product information moves from idea to launch. In this role, you will improve the systems and data behind that journey, with a focus on our PLM (Agile) and ERP (Oracle EBS) platforms. You will keep our work audit-ready in a regulated manufacturing environment and find smart ways to put AI and automation to work. Our ideal candidate can turn complex topics into clear recommendations, enjoys bringing people together, and likes leaving things better than they found them.What You Will Do as a USANA Process EngineerOwn solution design of end-to-end processes, from ideate-to-launch through design-to-release and new product introductionManage PLM to ERP integrations, making sure formula, recipe, routing, and item master data flows accurately between systemsDesign and improve our change control model, including approvals, readiness criteria, and the downstream impact on costing and label claimsUse data and direct PLM and ERP queries to troubleshoot issues, validate changes, and identify root causesKeep processes aligned with GMP, FDA, and audit requirements, with full traceability for formulas and specificationsSpot where AI and automation can add real value, then build reusable tools the team can rely on, with governance built inLead cross-functional initiatives, breaking big projects into clear steps and aligning stakeholders for successful adoptionMentor engineers and help shape team standards and roadmap prioritiesBackground and Skills You Will NeedFive plus years in business process improvement and software implementation, including work within one or more end-to-end business capabilitiesHands-on PLM (Oracle Agile or comparable) and ERP (Oracle EBS or comparable) skills, including multi-system workflowsBackground in process manufacturing, such as formulation, recipe, and batch-based productionExperience in a GMP, FDA, or similarly regulated environment, including formal change control and audit support; SOX familiarity is a plusAbility to spot process risks and turn them into practical recommendationsStrong data-driven analysis and sound judgment on ambiguous problemsProven ability to lead complex initiatives, influence stakeholders, and mentor othersWhat Will Make You StandoutBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related fieldExperience with PLM migration or modernization, including data cleansing and mapping, or exposure to next-generation PLM platformsFamiliarity with improvement methods like Lean, Kaizen, BPMN, or SIPOCExposure to change management practices, such as user adoption and communication planningWho We AreSince 1992, USANA has put science first with our focus on in-house research and manufacturing based in Salt Lake City, Utah to drive the creation of supplements that give your body the exact nutrition it needs to thrive.
