What you’ll actually do You’ll be the friendly, capable first point of contact for our internal staff and partners. You’re not "just fixing computers" — you’re making sure our clinical teams have the tools they need to care for patients. The best person for this role can take a tangled technical problem and explain the fix like they’re talking to a friend. Technical Support & Troubleshooting Be the first responder for technical issues from staff and partners Troubleshoot and resolve issues across communication tools (RingCentral or similar voice/video/messaging) Ticketing systems (Zendesk or similar) Productivity suites (Google Workspace — Email, Drive, Docs) Healthcare systems (Tebra EHR and other practice management software) Provide hardware support for computers, peripherals, and operating systems Support telephonic and mobile devices, including Tracfone units Partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot patient-facing mobile tech Technology, Equipment & Logistics Coordinate IT equipment fulfillment for new and existing staff Support onboarding and offboarding, including equipment returns Keep accurate inventory of all IT hardware and assets Documentation & Training Create user docs, knowledge base articles, and "Quick Start" guides Provide light training to help users help themselves Collaborate with the IT team on system improvements Security & Compliance Follow and uphold our security policies (HIPAA, SOC-2, HITRUST) and federal healthcare regulations Maintain complete confidentiality with sensitive patient and employee data Support compliance audits and IT risk assessments as needed What makes you a great fit You communicate like a human. You stay curious and technically capable. Comfortable with Google Workspace, Mac/PC hardware, and mobile device troubleshooting. You stay organized under pressure. Juggling several tickets and tracking inventory doesn’t rattl you. You take compliance seriously — or you’re eager to learn how (HIPAA and healthcare data security). Location and schedule. San Diego-based and available for the 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST schedule with hybrid flexibility. Experience. 1+ year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree.
