Description

• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions addressing communication, speech clarity, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to form integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical settings.
• Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions for constant care throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping in adherence to state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 30 days after hire.
