TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970!

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: RN Telemetry I Specialty: RN Telemetry I Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Eves/Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to 8 different units Description: Must float throughout various medical/surgical telemetry areas. Responsible for cardiac monitoring and administering cardiac drips. Required to read telemetry strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience is necessary. Must be able to interpret telemetry strips. Patient-to-clinician ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings and up to 6:1 at night. Care involves working with emergency department patients and non-vented patients ready for transfer from the ICU. Units vary in bed count from 8 to 41 beds. Rotations include days, evenings, and potential nights depending on the contract. EMR charting system used is EPIC.
