As a Security Officer Armed - Patrol Access in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access for employees, visitors, and contractors by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and following site protocols for sensitive areas.
- Support site operations by monitoring for security-related risks, assisting with incident response, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military roles is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
