Key Responsibilities Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, establishing rapport and trust with clients as they discuss their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate clients’ mental health status and create personalized, actionable treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Act as a client advocate by empowering them to articulate their goals and explore pathways toward achieving these objectives. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed, relying on your clinical knowledge to provide the most effective support. Engage in continuous professional development and stay attuned to the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health trends. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you serve at Consonus Mental Healthcare are primarily stable adults with low acuity, allowing for productive and meaningful counseling sessions. Each client is screened carefully, ensuring that you are matched with individuals whose needs align with your specialties and demographic preferences. This allows for focused interactions, fostering a positive therapeutic alliance. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Full licensure in the State of Illinois as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with no disciplinary history. Ability to practice independently without supervision, showcasing your clinical acumen and judgment. Exceptional interpersonal skills, conveying empathy and understanding in all client communications. Preferred Experience Prior experience in providing therapy in a telehealth setting is a plus, allowing you to quickly transition to our systems and processes. Experience working with diverse client populations and varied mental health issues. A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and promoting ethical standards in all counseling practices. Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your expertise and contributions, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
