National Business Development Representative

Position Summary Our National Business Development Representative acts as a liaison between the facility and referral sources, implementing service‑oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs. The role includes traveling to assigned territories based on strategic planning, planning scheduled trips in advance with pre‑arranged quality appointments, presenting a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community, and collaborating with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team. Responsibilities Travel within assigned territory and make weekly trips; establish and manage relationships with referral sources; develop and implement outreach plans; present our facility’s services to potential partners; maintain accurate records of travel and client interactions; respond to referral source needs promptly. Experience: Minimum three years documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships; prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver’s License. Skills & Knowledge: Good verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of the behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets, referral sources, psychiatric treatment, and age‑specific programming; demonstrated business development and sales abilities; proficiency in computer usage; creativity, flexibility, data collection and analysis; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
