CMM Operator
PPS-HPS
PPS is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable CMM Machine Operator to join our production team in Fremont. The candidate will operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).This role is key to ensuring quality standards are consistently met and that our workflow runs efficiently.
This is a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits and room for advancement!
Responsibilities:
- Operate CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections.
- Conduct RA surface measurements and document results accurately.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and quality specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and reporting non-conformances.
- Package and vacuum-seal finished parts according to job specifications.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts from machines, racks, and work areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a CMM machine (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
- Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
- Familiarity with RA surface measurement equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet during shift.
Strong attention to detail, quality-minded, and reliable work ethic.
