Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist
• Understanding of teaching in both inclusion and single classroom environments
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
• Commitment to creating accessible lesson plans that address diverse learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students with special needs in both inclusion settings and self-contained classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success within mainstream classrooms
• Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to accommodate individual learning needs
• Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Engage families and caregivers as partners in the educational process
