Qualifications:

• Valid OH K–12 Intervention Specialist License is required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and meet students at their level

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students in grades K–8
• Assess, record, and report on student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Work closely with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment tailored to each child’s unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Foster positive relationships and advocate for every student’s learning potential
