Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Life Insurance Agent role based in Atlanta, GA. The Life Insurance Agent will meet with individuals and families to assess their financial protection needs, explain life insurance and related products, and recommend appropriate solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and networking to build a client base, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing proposals, and assisting clients with policy applications and underwriting requirements. The agent will maintain ongoing relationships with clients through regular reviews, policy service, and coverage updates as needs change. The role also involves staying current on product offerings, compliance standards, and industry trends, while collaborating with team members and leveraging New York Life’s training and development programs. Qualifications Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and listen actively to client needs. Sales and business development abilities, such as prospecting, networking, and follow-up to build and maintain a growing book of business. Organizational and administrative skills to manage appointments, documentation, policy applications, and ongoing client service efficiently. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial situations and recommend suitable life insurance and related solutions. Comfort working in a regulated environment, with attention to compliance, ethics, and confidentiality. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in sales or financial services is welcomed. Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, including some evenings or weekends as needed to meet client availability.
