Job Description

Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Paraprofessional in an elementary setting for the upcoming academic year. Situated in the Blytheville area and extending from August through May, this contract position plays a vital role in classroom support and student development.

As a Paraprofessional, your presence will make a meaningful difference, fostering a positive learning environment and assisting both educators and students throughout the school day, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. You'll be an essential part of a team committed to student growth, with experience in special education settings highly valued due to exposure to a variety of student behaviors.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in a school environment
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Comfortable supporting students with diverse needs, including special education
Strong communication skills and an encouraging attitude
Flexibility and adaptability to shifting classroom dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and behavioral support to students under teacher supervision
Assist with classroom and activity preparation
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
Help manage and redirect student behaviors as needed
Support individual or small group instruction for students requiring additional help
