Job DescriptionJob Description#jobalert | DIRECT HIRE | EHS COORDINATOR | MANUFACTURING [Sycamore, IL area]This is a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator position at a established heavy industrial manufacturing facility focused on industrial equipment. The role provides daily site-level support for safety programs, including training, inspections, incident response, and documentation. It requires a practical professional who can work effectively on the plant floor in a safety-priority environment.Anticipate: $65K-$75K, BOEBenefits include: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K w/ match, PTO, holidays1st shift (8 AM - 4:30 PM; flexible start possible)On-site in Sycamore, IL areaResponsibilitiesConduct new-hire safety orientations and routine training sessions, including forklift certificationPerform regular safety inspections, walkthroughs, and report findingsAssist with incident response, documentation, reporting, and corrective action trackingMaintain training records, safety files, logs, and serve as Safety Committee scribeProvide daily EHS support and escort vendors/contractors on-siteQualificationsAssociate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferredMinimum 1 year safety experience in industrial or manufacturing environment requiredProficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsKeywords: EHS Coordinator, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Health Safety, Industrial Safety, Manufacturing Safety, Forklift Training, Incident Investigation, Safety Inspections, OSHA Compliance Support, Heavy IndustrialEEO
