Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN PACU plays a vital role in providing specialized postoperative care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and optimal recovery. This position offers an opportunity to work within a comprehensive healthcare environment that values clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and professional development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs, airway status, and overall condition during recovery from anesthesia and surgery.
• Administer medications, including pain management and sedation, following established protocols and physician orders.
• Perform advanced patient assessments to identify early signs of complications such as bleeding, respiratory distress, or hemodynamic instability.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures such as IV insertions, catheter care, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized discharge plans ensuring safe transfer from PACU.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.

RN01

Required Qualifications:

• Min 2 years of RN PACU experience required
• BLS, ACLS and PALS
