This cashier job suits someone young in their career, quick on their feet and quietly competitive, the type who sees a long line as a challenge rather than a chore. Full training is provided, so what you need is energy and pride in doing things well, not experience.
What the Job Involves- Running your register with speed and accuracy, even when the line builds
- Handling cash and card payments and keeping your till balanced to the cent
- Greeting every customer properly, because the last 30 seconds of their visit is you
- Keeping your checkout area sharp, stocked and ready
- Learning promotions and products so you can answer questions on the spot
- Backing up the team on the floor when the tills are quiet
- Full time cashier position with a Monday to Friday schedule, weekends free
- Full training provided , and the fastest learners get noticed quickly
- Your accuracy and speed are measurable, and we recognise the people who top the numbers
- Progression is earned, not waited for, with supervisor and senior roles filled from within
