Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerCutter's Edge is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, and team development. This role partners closely with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials, process consistency, and strong business support across a fast-paced environment. Our Accounting Manager is a full-time, in-office position Mon-Fri. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional seeking long-term growth with a dynamic and growing organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end closePrepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysisSupport budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial reviewMaintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance-related activitiesSupervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiencyPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business objectivesOther responsibilities as neededQualifications:3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or service-based environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is idealPrior leadership or supervisory experience requiredStrong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and internal controlsAdvanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to travel to branch locations in south FloridaAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkAbout Us: Cutters Edge is here to help improve, beautify, and increase our customers' business and property values through landscape.
