Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Raleigh, NC Site is looking for a new Operations Specialist to join our Integrated Logistics team. How you create impact As an Operations Specialist you will coordinate and plan customer orders and shipments according to agreed scope, manage all customer inquiries regarding visibility and status, answer questions and address potential issues that arise. Utilizing your strong forwarding and customer service knowledge, you will provide front‑line support for our customers to ensure satisfaction with our services and align with processes based on Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate with other departments, both at the customer's site and across the IL organization. Coordinate Transport Services for customer orders, using transport management systems. Handle manual order entries. Show ownership within the area of responsibility and execute tasks with the expected level of productivity and performance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to existing Kuehne+Nagel Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions following the business process mapping. Daily execution of the in‑scope services, committing to first‑class level of respective services (order fulfilment, Transport Management, Request and Deviation Management, Visibility and Monitoring, Claims Processing). Receive and respond in time to requests from relevant stakeholders (such as customer requests). Adhere to and comply with all health & safety, quality, security, environmental, legal and regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures. Participate in quality audits related to general and client‑specific quality programs. What we would like you to bring 1+ years of working experience in Logistics and/or customer service sector. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge & understanding of Logistics. Strong customer service orientation. Interest in working with transport management systems or warehouse management systems. Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail with a systematic and methodical approach. Ability to multi‑task and deal with different internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Good communication and organizational skills.
