Production Manager

BusinessRate is a business intelligence platform that recognizes top-performing local businesses across the country. We produce and ship thousands of custom awards—plaques and crystal pieces—to businesses that earn our recognition. We're looking for someone to own our in-house production facility and manage the full workflow from print to ship. The Role You'll run our award production operation with an assistant and full support from ownership. As production volume grows you will hire additional support roles. This means operating UV flatbed printers, assembling crystal awards, packaging orders, and coordinating daily shipments. You'll own the entire process from the moment an order hits the queue to the moment it's picked up by USPS or UPS. You will manage vendor relationships, inventory, supplies and operations within the production space. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, stays organized, and likes efficiency. We're printing around 30,000 awards per year today and expect to grow to 50,000+. What You’ll Do Operate and maintain UV flatbed printers to produce custom plaques and awards Assemble crystal award products (light assembly work) Package and label orders for shipment Coordinate daily pickups with USPS and UPS Manage production queue and prioritize orders to meet deadlines Track inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed Source new vendors and suppliers Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production space Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed What You Bring 2+ years of experience in print production, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations Hands-on experience with UV flatbed printers, large format printing, or similar equipment (strongly preferred) Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow Detail-oriented with a focus on quality—every award represents our brand Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift packages up to 40 lbs Organized and reliable—you show up, stay on schedule, and keep things running Basic computer skills for order management and inventory tracking Experience in awards, signage, promotional products, or custom printing Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment Familiarity with shipping software or label printing systems What We Offer $56,000 – $65,000 annual salary based on experience Health/Dental/Vision Insurance & PTO Stable, predictable work with consistent daily volume Room to grow as production scales Supportive ownership team available when you need backup Full-time, on-site position in Chandler, AZ Standard daytime hours (some flexibility based on production needs) Production/warehouse environment How to Apply Send your resume and a brief note on your print production or manufacturing experience to: View email address on click.appcast.io Tell us about the equipment you've operated and the types of products you've produced.
