Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Collaborate with clients on the creation of personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, objectives, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively support client progress.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, exploration of treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their well-being.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and collaborative treatment approaches.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to refine therapeutic methods.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in line with legal, ethical, and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster a supportive and collegial atmosphere.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work to destigmatize mental health challenges within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds requiring sensitive and specialized support. As a therapist at Corner Street, you will play a significant role in the lives of vulnerable populations, including those affected by homelessness, refugees, and domestic violence survivors.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
