Video Editor and Social Media Manager

You will be based in Cairo, predominantly working for clients based in the UK. You will run Izmi's social media accounts across Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Izmi is the parent company to a restaurant content creation brand in London, and you will also be supporting with video editing for this brand. As we grow, we're onboarding monthly retainer clients, whose accounts you will manage on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for a Video Editor and Social Media Manager to take raw footage from our videographer and turn it into scroll-stopping short-form video content. As you progress, you'll have creative control and manage our clients' social media accounts entirely. This is a desk-based editing and publishing role. You won't be required to attend client shoots or visit venues. You'll work closely with our team on the ground to direct content and run the account strategy day to day. You will be reporting to our social media executive and as we grow, you will have the opportunity to build your own team to support you. Key responsibilities Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts, matching each client's distinct style and tone Create graphic posts for static social media content using Canva or similar software Manage the day-to-day posting schedule across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for client accounts Write captions, hooks, and copy suited to each brand's voice Monitor performance (views, saves, shares, engagement) and adjust content strategy based on what's working Stay on top of trending audio, formats, and editing styles relevant to food and travel content Organise and maintain a content calendar and footage library per client Take on additional client accounts as Izmi's roster grows, maintaining the same high standard Skills and qualifications Proven experience editing short-form video content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts). A portfolio is essential. Strong eye for pacing, sound design, colour, and storytelling Confident working across an editing suite (Premiere Pro/CapCut) and using scheduling tools Strong understanding of what makes content perform on Instagram and TikTok Comfortable managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and a content calendar independently within an async workflow Strong written and verbal English Self-starter who can work remotely with minimal supervision Excellent time management skills to be able to edit and publish content in a timely manner for multiple clients We work with SMEs in the UK and MENA on how they appear across traditional and AI-powered search.
