Subcontracts Administrator

Supporting a business area with over $1 billion in annual revenue, the full-time Principal Subcontract Administrator will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts, from RFP issuance to closeout, ensuring compliance with internal policies and FAR/DFARS regulations while fostering supplier relationships in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Prepare RFPs and lead negotiations on terms, conditions, and pricing while maintaining documentation for audit readiness Collaborate cross-functionally with program stakeholders to align subcontract requirements with program milestones Interface with suppliers to ensure compliance with subcontract requirements and support critical government and commercial proposals Required qualifications Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience Demonstrated working knowledge of government and commercial contracts Proficient in FAR/DFARS regulations applicable to the defense and aerospace industry Strong experience managing the entire procurement flow from proposal to final closeout Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
