Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students across a district near Orange, NJ! This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting impact, working Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, with immediate start available through June 25, 2027. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team, providing services to a diverse caseload and ensuring students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid NJ licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
• Prior experience in a school setting is essential
• Confident managing district-wide caseloads and collaborating with school staff
• Ability to provide your own testing materials for evaluations
• Strong skills in completing student assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
• Willingness to travel reliably within the district
• Candidates must be prepared for a 15-minute interview
• SLPAs and CF candidates cannot be considered for this assignment due to supervision requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Deliver therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Stay organized and up-to-date on paperwork, assessment results, and progress monitoring
• Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, parents, and the district
• Flexibly handle assigned caseloads and provide support where needs are greatest

Onboarding Requirements:

• TB test and physical examination
• Fingerprinting for both agency and district compliance
