Lead HR Business Partner

Natera seeks a Lead HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational support to business leaders, with primary focus on employee relations advisory, investigations, and workplace issue resolution. The role requires deep expertise in HR business partnership across lab-based and office environments in a regulated life sciences setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary employee relations resource for managers and employees on complex workplace issues and coaching
- Lead thorough investigations in partnership with legal counsel and manage associated compliance and risk
- Advise leaders on compensation, benefits, performance management, and team development strategies
- Lead HR programs including engagement, onboarding, offboarding, talent development, and training initiatives
- Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and retention strategies for the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years as HR Business Partner in biotech, life sciences, or high-tech environment
- Demonstrated independent experience leading workplace investigations from intake through resolution
- Strong working knowledge of California and federal employment law
- Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employee populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel approximately 15%
