Job Title: General Production Worker (Assembler) Job Description

This role focuses on assembling precision-engineered automotive air suspension components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow visual work orders and diagrams to build and remanufacture parts using hand and power tools, while maintaining high quality standards and supporting overall production output. The position is well suited for entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and an interest in working with engineered components.

• Assemble air suspension components and related parts according to work orders, diagrams, and visual step-by-step instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to perform assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect parts for quality, proper alignment, seals, and finish to ensure products meet high durability and performance standards.
• Interpret and follow simplified, visual work instructions similar to illustrated assembly diagrams.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with safety, quality, and efficiency guidelines.
• Stand for extended periods (10+ hours per shift) while performing repetitive production and assembly tasks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on parts and tools and promptly notify leads of defects, issues, or irregularities.
• Support production workflow by following established pacing and contributing to team output goals.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures within the manufacturing and remanufacturing environment.
• Load completed products into boxes and prepare them for further processing or shipment.
• Disassemble used products and rebuild them using appropriate hand, power, and pneumatic tools in the remanufacturing area.

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools.
• Experience or interest in assembly, mechanical work, automotive tasks, or similar hands-on roles.
• Ability to read and accurately follow visual work orders and illustrated step-by-step diagrams.
• Ability to stand for 10+ hours per shift while maintaining focus and quality.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with tools, machinery, and repetitive processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized instructions consistently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing 20+ pounds safely.

• Familiarity with basic mechanical principles and component assembly.
• Experience using pneumatic tools in a production or remanufacturing environment.
• Interest in automotive or industrial products and willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to work in non–climate-controlled warehouse settings.
• Openness to cross-training in areas such as paint, crimping, quality control, or machine operation.

The role is based in non–climate-controlled manufacturing and remanufacturing warehouses, primarily in Building B and Building C. In Building B, you work at standing workstations assembling products with hand and power tools, applying stickers, and loading completed items into boxes. In Building C, you focus on remanufacturing, disassembling used products and rebuilding them with hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Shifts are structured as Monday–Thursday with optional overtime on Friday: 1st shift runs approximately 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, and 2nd shift runs approximately 3:00 PM–1:00 AM with optional Friday hours. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and requires extended standing and regular lifting of items weighing 20+ pounds, with a focus on safety, organization, and consistent production output.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
