Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Job Description

This position involves providing patient care in a Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit setting. Candidates must be comfortable with all specialties, demonstrating autonomy and competence in patient management.

Shift Information

• Shift: 12 Hours Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Schedule: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.
• Monitor cardiac conditions and recognize dysrhythmias.
• Work in a collaborative environment, ensuring high standards of care.
• Rapidly adapt to the diverse needs of patients in a small, rural facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Progressive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry settings.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring is essential.
• Familiarity with Medhost software is required.
• Successful completion of a basic dysrhythmia test must be documented in the profile.
• Travel experience in a nursing role is highly preferred.
• Experience in rural or small facility settings is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.

Certifications Required

• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

General Requirements

• Must be able to work independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
• Travelers must possess their own vehicle for transportation.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission; requests after submission will not be considered.
