PRIDE Case Manager

$22 - $23 per hour

Wages and Benefits Wages $22.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and level of experience. Responsibilities Conduct support/process groups for youth, young adults, and adults who are survivors of sex trafficking both in‑house and in corrections facilities around the metro area. Provide crisis intervention, support, information, referral, and case management in‑person and over the phone (travel to meet clients in the community a regular requirement). Connect clients with community resources and assist clients in using resources. Assist clients with creating safety and goal plans and monitor their progress regularly. Provide court advocacy as needed. Maintain partnerships with law enforcement and assist partners with detail operations as they pertain to victims of sex trafficking. Provide appropriate transportation to clients as needed. Assist with creating transition/release plans for currently incarcerated clients who are not currently working with any other services. Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining housing. Assist with coordination of services between client, probation officers, social workers, treatment centers, shelter teams, therapists, medical professionals, etc. Facilitate outreach in the community, including court outreach in the government center and public safety facilities. Attend regular community meetings such as Justice Involved Girls & Women’s Task Force and other community meetings pertaining to justice involved clients. Represent the program in judicial, criminal justice, and law enforcement settings. Provide training and education about the PRIDE Program and sex trafficking to the public. Document and record program outcomes in the agency’s databases. Conduct housing assessments to determine eligibility for housing placement. Provide reports for other community stakeholders such as probation officers and social workers as requested and outlined in current contracts held by the agency. Prepare materials and activities for group sessions both at the agency and in the community. Maintain the court calendar for dissemination to criminal justice and judicial partners. Complete documentation of drug court calendar for billing purposes. Maintain documentation of community group client rosters. Extract data from online court databases to stay informed about new and continuing cases. Qualifications Hold a bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a related field, or have four years of relevant experience, or have an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Experience with specialized training that prepares individuals to work in trauma‑informed ways with trafficking victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault (e.g., case management, advocacy, group dynamics, and victim rights/services). Experience with direct practice work with women and teens who have experienced trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and prostitution. Preferably have two years of experience engaging and mentoring youth. Survivor experience is valued, and survivors of trafficking are encouraged to apply. Working knowledge of legislation such as VAWA, TVPA, and similar laws that impact victims of sex trafficking. Working knowledge of how criminal justice and court systems work. Skilled in facilitating groups with women of diverse ages and ability levels, including comprehension and learning styles. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed. Strong written English skills sufficient to provide correct grammar in client case notes and in written documents on behalf of the client. Skilled in conducting training sessions for professionals. Understanding of issues important to urban, low‑income communities, communities of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, and other oppressed and/or vulnerable populations. Knowledge and understanding of co‑occurring mental health/chemical dependency concerns when working with at‑risk populations. Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate others, develop professional relationships, and collaboratively work with other staff. Ability to work with and manage several databases while maintaining client confidentiality. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet the Family Partnership’s driving record requirements. License not issued in Minnesota: must apply for a Minnesota driver’s license or permit within 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident (not applicable for new hires living out of state). #J-18808-Ljbffr
