As a Armed Security Officer - Financial Institution in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an armed patrol professional. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and report unusual behavior, suspicious activity, and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support cash handling and other high-value operational activities by maintaining a visible presence, following post instructions, and documenting incidents and/or observations as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
