Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility in Keyport, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy protocols that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment methodologies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
• Provide instruction and education to patients and their caregivers, fostering independence and sustaining recovery at home.
• Utilize innovative tools and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of treatments, working closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Exemplify a high standard of customer service to enrich patient experiences and contribute to the facility's positive reputation.
• Meet and exceed utilization goals while actively participating in departmental initiatives that optimize business performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric needs, and sports-related issues. Your varied experience will allow you to adapt treatment approaches to best serve each patient's unique circumstances, promoting their journey towards recovery through personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) approved by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee is mandatory.
• At least two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized physical therapy disciplines such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurology is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment plans efficiently.
• Established track record of fostering patient relationships that promote trust and support functional goal achievements.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
