Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and managing YMCA marketing efforts across email, website, and digital platforms. This role ensures timely, accurate, and strategic deployment of content and campaigns that drive engagement, participation, and conversion. We offer you a career with a future and the chance to make a lasting difference in your community Know How/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Marketing or a related field is required (or equivalent experience). One to three (1–3) years of experience in digital marketing, content execution, and campaign management; nonprofit or community-focused experience preferred. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with close attention to detail. Experience executing content across digital platforms, including email, website, and social media. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and best practices for posts, stories, and short-form video. Ability to identify and implement social media trends in a timely, brand-aligned way. Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Loomly). Experience with email marketing platforms and website content management systems. Familiarity with Google Analytics; experience with Google Tag Manager preferred. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment. Strong project management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems. Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support internal stakeholders and contribute to team initiatives. Team-oriented with a strong commitment to the YMCA’s mission, community impact, and member experience.
