Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.Assessment - Contributes to the assessment of the health status of the healthcare consumer.Plan – Contributes to the plan of care through observation, data collection and communication of findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.Implement – Provides basic patient care activities based on the plan of care and as delegated.Evaluate – Contributes to the evaluation of the healthcare consumer by observing responses to interventions and communicating findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.Documents cares provided in the healthcare consumer's record.Job RequirementsOther Must have successfully completed the 75-hour state approved course for Nursing Assistant if hired into the Nursing Assistant position after April 30, 1998., upon hireCertified Nursing Assistant: NE, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hireWhere You'll WorkThe Josie Harper Hospice House, in partnership with CHI Health, provides compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in a comforting, home-like environment.
