Research Technician 1, School of Medicine, Physiology & Biophysics The Research Technician 1 will support laboratory investigations involving retinal tissue preparation, microspectrophotometry, and related data collection and analysis activities. Position Details Category: Professional Salary: $20,500.00–$22,000.00 Position Type: Part‑time Location: Boston, MA, United States Responsibilities Perform retinal tissue dissections in a controlled dark‑room environment. Operate specialized laboratory instrumentation for microspectrophotometry. Collect, organize, and perform computational analysis of tissue sample data under guidance of the principal investigator and laboratory staff. Maintain laboratory inventory and support the operational organization of the research laboratory. Provide day‑to‑day guidance to undergraduate or summer research trainees as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 0–12 months of related laboratory experience.
